THE WEDDING EXPERIENCE
What I do differently.
Let’s start with this. I am not telling you that I am the best wedding photographer. I do however believe that there are couples that I am best fit to serve. So if you have made it this far you either have a lot of time on your hands, or you are one of those couples!
I truly believe that wedding photography is about so much more than just good photographs, it’s about authentic connection.
In our time together I want to get to know what it is you value and love in each other, that way we can bring that out in your images. I want to know what you are most excited about, not only for your wedding, but for your marriage.
I only photograph weddings. I believe you should find one thing you are good at, and then get crazy good at it!
I have invested my time and resources in learning, purchasing professional gear, and working very hard at my craft. I am constantly finding ways to grow and get better. That way on your wedding day everything is second nature, you won’t have to worry about a photographer that’s still learning his way around his camera.
Your wants and needs come first.
At the end of the day I only care that you are having the greatest time of your life! I want you to be fully present in all the moments of your day so that you can feel all the emotions and love every moment. That is how you will be most comfortable in front of my camera. When you choose me as your photographer, you will never have to worry about your photographs.
You get to do you!
On your day you get to be 100% your true, authentic selves. I do not care what that looks like, or what we have to do to make that happen. It is your day, you get to do you!
STEP 1
Reach Out
You value images that are Timeless, Authentic, and Emotional. You want true connection with your photographer, and you are a fan of my work. Basically you are feeling my style! Head over to my contact page to say hello. I will be in touch as soon as possible after you fill out the form.
STEP 2
The Consultation
We will meet either in person, or over video to dive deep into what you are most wanting out of your wedding day, what you two love most about each other, and to make sure we are a good fit.
Once a custom package is completed for your wedding day and you are ready to make it official we have a PARTY!! Then you will sign a digital contract and get ready to secure your date.
STEP 3
Engagement Session
This is one of the most fun things to do, and something you should certainly look forward to! It’s a very laid back, guided session. I want it to feel like I have just 3rd wheeled a date with the two of you and captured it was we went along.
I will give you pointers for outfit choices, locations, and I will guide you through the session with some posing and prompts to get incredible images. This will be the perfect way for us to get to know each other even better, and the images make for great save-the-dates, engagement announcements, even Christmas cards.
STEP 4
Planning for the Best Photographs
I will work with your coordinator to make sure your plans are perfect. Without planning weddings can be very stressful, but with proper planning your day will go smoothly and feel much easier and free. I will work with them to make sure your timeline is perfectly set, and that there is enough time built into your day that stress is reduced and for safety nets in case things get off schedule.
A few weeks before your wedding I send you a questionnaire to make sure I have the family groupings, your vendor details, and any other special things you have planned for your wedding day.
STEP 5
The Wedding Day!!!
It is finally here!!! The day you have dreamt of, and have been planning and designing is here! The timeline is built, the vendors selected, and today will be filled with all the emotions and moments that you will cherish forever.
Today we will create the natural, relaxed images. Timeless images that tell the story of your day and that are filled with true emotion. I will be with you from the time you are getting ready until you run through those sparklers with your friends and family cheering you on!
STEP 6
The Reveal
I personally color grade and retouch every image you receive. Every image you receive is delivered in high resolution without watermarking and are ready for you to print and share as much as you like.
We will also work together at this time to design your custom heirloom wedding album that will be delivered straight to your front door! 50 years from now when technology has changed you will still be able to flip through your incredible album and relive your story. Your wedding images are much too important to be quickly scrolled past on a social media feed, that is why the album we build will be so important.
